Level Two CNC Machinist

Own your setups. Hold the tightest tolerances.

Union City, CA · $28 – $34/hour · 2-5 years

Reports to: Level Three CNC Machinist / Shop Supervisor

About This Role

As a Level Two CNC Machinist you will independently set up and operate 3 and 4-axis CNC mills and CNC lathes, choosing workholding, tooling and offsets to hold tight tolerances across full production runs. You will read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T, edit G-code on the fly and own the quality of your parts end to end.

This is a role for a machinist who works independently and takes pride in clean, accurate work. We are a startup where everyone gives 110% toward one shared goal.

Level Two machinists who master complex work and help others grow move up to Level Three, leading the floor on the hardest jobs. At RivCut, machinists who show initiative move up fast.
